Welcome to A Paper Hug Blog

This blog is all about loving and caring for those living far away. Keeping in touch with family and friends is so important especially when it becomes a long distance relationship. Regardless of the reasons for separation, we would like to help you keep in touch.

A Paper Hug was written to help children deal with a deployed dad. Pictures are so important to send to family and friends because we all change – especially babies and children. And, the saying is very true, “A picture speaks a thousand words.” I have had two sons serve in Iraq, and a son and his family live out of state. I have loved being creative through letters and packages.
